Park lawmaker said that “Out of 487 lawyer disciplinary actions in the last five years, permanent dismissal is only one” and “Minimal consistency, and without any tears or sympathy for the victims’/relatives, the covering of my family”. He urged, “According to the Lawyer Act, the Ministry of Justice has the responsibility to manage the Bar Association. The Ministry of Justice should take action now to prevent the protection of privileges among lawyers”. He said he would review a bill to amend the law to make it possible for the Ministry of Justice to manage and discipline the Bar Association and for the disciplinary requester to submit a disciplinary objection.
